Prop 33 Rewards Consumers for Being Responsible :60sec

“My name is Arianna, and I’m a Californian with car insurance. I’m proud of doing the right thing. In this economy money is tight, but Prop 33 will save me, and California drivers, more money every month on car insurance. It will allow us to shop our discount for being responsible and maintaining car insurance to competing insurance carriers—lowering our rates and helping the uninsured get insurance. Shouldn’t car insurance companies compete harder for our business?

Prop 33 will lower my monthly rate and has added protection to insure I maintain my discount and more drivers get insurance. If you’ve been laid off or furloughed for up to 18 months—you still get your discount. And if you’ve missed a payment for any reason in 90 days—you still get your discount. Californians deserve to be rewarded and save money on their car insurance. Let’s save money. Vote yes on Prop 33.

Prop 33 Protects Students :60sec

”I’m Brandy, and I’m a recent UC San Diego grad. I’m voting yes on Proposition 33 because it will save me money and allow me, not insurance companies, to control my car insurance discount. Current law only allows me to keep this discount if I stay with my current insurance carrier. Giving insurance companies control of my discount is a bad idea. I’m repaying my student loans and money is tight. Prop 33 will make insurance companies compete harder for my business—saving me money.

As a young graduate living at home, Prop 33 gives me the same discount as my parents. Prop 33 protects consumers like me—letting me keep my discount if I’m laid off, furloughed for up to 18 months, or miss a payment for 90 days for any reason. In this economy, we need every protection we can get.

Prop 33 makes insurance companies compete and protects consumers like me. Save money—vote yes on Prop 33.

Prop 33 Saves Californians Money :30sec

”If you maintain car insurance in California you’re eligible for a continuous coverage discount—but only if you stay with the same insurance company. Insurance companies controlling our discount, is a bad idea.

Prop 33 makes it easier to switch insurance companies and shop for a better deal. Make insurance companies compete harder for our business—vote yes on Prop 33.

Proposition 33 Gives Consumers Control :30sec

”California does not allow consumers control of our own discount for maintaining car insurance. Other states allow consumers to shop their discounts, so why don’t we have control?

Proposition 33 gives us control of our discount and empowers the Department of Insurance to prevent unfair rate increases. Make insurance companies compete for our business, vote yes on Prop 33.
